West Side Storys breakout star Rachel Zegler will not be in presence at the Oscars with her fellow colleagues, in spite of the film having actually scored an overall of seven nominations including Best Picture.Zegler, who starred as Maria in the film, reacted to a fan on Instagram who asked what shell be using for the event with, “Im not invited so sweatpants and my sweethearts flannel.” While Zegler didnt score an election for Best Actress, its typical that the cast be present to support the movie regardless, especially for Best Picture candidates.
