The most head-scratching part of Is It Cake? arrives to cap off the show. For essential context, previously in the episode, a contestant (Jonny) describes a strategy to plant synthetic tomatoes on one of the genuine tacos to toss off the judges. Flash forward to the cake-guessing game for all the marbles. The judges dont choose Jonnys taco– in reality, they pick a genuine taco that looks like it has phony tomatoes on it. I cant confirm for sure that taco was the target of Jonnys deception, since the program doesnt bring it up. Nope, not at all.To be clear, there are no rules against what Jonny did as far as I can tell. In a competitors that already doesnt make much sense, its another aggravating blow. It might have been worked into a teaching moment or laughed off by the judges. Rather, absolutely nothing takes place, and were left questioning if we missed out on something.

I was hoping to slice into a rewarding escape when I turned on this reality program. In truth, I discovered myself more bothered by mind-boggling options and burning concerns. Im all for recommending truth shows, however eventually, this is one could-be-confection you do not wish to bite into.
