Twitter is re-examining Elon Musks unsolicited deal to purchase the company and take it private, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday. The 2 sides are fulfilling Sunday to talk about Musks proposal, the Journal reported, recommending that the social media company may be receptive to Musks offer.Musk proposed paying $54.20 for each share of the prominent social media business, an offer that values Twitter at $43 billion. Twitter had commonly been expected to turn down the offer, embracing a limited-duration shareholders rights plan, a method known as the “toxin tablet” defense thats utilized by business to fend off takeover attempts like the one dealing with Twitter.
