EA got the Halloween season going on Tuesday, with a trailer revealing gameplay of its upcoming Dead Space remake. It strikes PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on Jan. 27.
Developer Motives remake aims to stay loyal to the initial 2008 version of the scary video game, while rebuilding it with EAs Frostbite game engine.The third-person action-adventure game follows engineer Isaac Clarke as he checks out a mining spaceship overrun by exceptionally scary monsters. Capcom already released remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, with the 4th video game in the series getting the exact same treatment next year. Square Enix remade Final Fantasy 7 in 2020, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is getting a remake at some point in the future.
