If youre a Google Workspace administrator, focus on these five areas to orient yourself to the Admin console.
The Google Workspace Admin console enables individuals with administrator accounts to configure and manage all aspects of Google Workspace for a company. Individuals with a Super Administrator account may manage all available Google Workspace settings, while other Administrator accounts might have more minimal functions with control over specific settings (e.g., Groups Admin, User Management Admin, Android Admin, etc). To access the Google Admin console, open your internet browser to the Admin console and check in with your Google Workspace administrator account.

As of February 2022, the Google Admin console style functions left and best side menus (i.e., settings and tools, respectively) and a search box at the top, all of which surround options organized into boxes. In five of packages– Users, Product updates, Billing, Domains and Alerts– you may select the down pointing arrow in the upper right corner for fast access to extra details. Select the arrow once again to conceal the options and lessen package size.

Open the Google Workspace Status Dashboard.
On the ideal side of the primary Google Admin console display screen, below your Workspace account profile image, select < < to display the Tools menu (Figure A). While the Tools side panel lists several products, the Google Workspace Status Dashboard might be among the more regularly used links. The dashboard suggests the status of Google Workspace apps, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Google Meet, to name a few.

Check out product updates.
Broaden the Product Updates box to display current Google Workspace announcements (Figure B, box on the best side). These headlines are drawn from current posts to the Google Workspace Updates blog site. I recommend a lot of administrators keep the Product Updates box made the most of and examine the noted updates at least a couple times a month.

Manage accounts.
Broaden the Users box to display 4 regularly accessed activities: Add a User, Delete a User, Update a Users Name or Email and Create an Alternate Email Address (e-mail alias). The box (as shown in Figure B, box left wing) likewise consists of a Manage link that opens the Users list for your organization. In companies where the set of users modifications typically, as is typical in bigger companies, I advise administrators keep this box made the most of.
Gain access to all settings.
For access to all Google Workspace Admin console settings, I suggest you broaden your browser to be complete screen (or at least large enough to fill the majority of your screen). At that point, a click (or tap on touchscreens) on the three-horizontal lines in the upper left corner should toggle the left-side menu in between icons and icons with text labels and triangles to the left of products to suggest available sub-menus. Select the Show more button to make sure that all menus show (as displayed in Figure C).
I recommend that administrators who are new to Google Workspace take an hour or two to explore all readily available Admin console menu products. A methodical review of each menu product, simply accessing each and every option, provides helpful exposure to the breadth and depth of controls and information offered to Workspace administrators.

Browse.
The Admin console search box lets you browse for accounts or settings. Get in a persons name, then choose their profile from the outcomes to go straight to their Workspace settings. Additionally, get in a technical term or setting, such as DKIM (as in the example in Figure D), to access help pages to find out how to configure something or browse to a setting directly from the search engine result.
