Marvel’s Netflix original shows leave the service March 1st

Disneys Netflix cooperation successfully ended years back, today the programs themselves are going away … for the moment, at least. As Whats on Netflix discovered, Netflix is warning audiences that Marvels originals for the service will disappear on March 1st. If you havent captured up on shows like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher, you d better act rapidly.
Engadget has validated the programs are leaving Netflix now that the Marvel licensing has ended. The notifies (shown below) just appear to appear if you initially see a show on an offered profile, and just on some gadgets. When browsing the titles or utilizing the mobile app, you do not currently see them.

Its not specific if or when the programs will return on a Disney-owned service. Disney indicated in 2017 that it would shun Netflix in favor of what would end up being Disney+, and the last shows were cancelled in 2019.
The Netflix originals were noteworthy as “adult” shows that didnt hold back on language or violence. Thats somewhat out of line with the total PG focus of Disney+ and suggests they might go to Hulu (the home of off-kilter programs like MODOK) instead. Characters from the shows made looks in Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home, and it wouldnt be unexpected to see more of the ex-Netflix team in future productions. All items advised by Engadget are picked by our editorial team, independent of our parent company.
