Instagram revealed a change to Stories on Monday, finally enabling users to like a Story without sending the person who posted it a direct message. The modification was revealed by Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram. Its a small change– youll see a heart icon on stories, allowing you to like it– but a big relief for anybody who wanted to reveal assistance for another individuals story without barging all the way into their DMs. Its the Stories equivalent of sending a text instead of calling somebody up on the phone..

❤ Private Story Likes ❤ Starting to roll out today, you can now send out some love by liking peoples stories without sending out a DM. Likes on stories are private and do not have counts.
